Michael A. Canty founded MAC Basketball in 2014 on a mission to provide the highest quality representation, unmatched personal attention, guidance and service for top basketball talent in Germany.

Michael has had the opportunity to experience various aspects of the sports business. Coming from a strong family background, he believes that the welfare of a player extends well beyond their performance on the court. MAC Basketball therefore tailors its services to each individual client’s needs, always looking to build the foundation for a long and successful sports career and post-career.

Michael holds a degree in Management & Economics and has successfully completed his doctoral degree upon researching consumer behavior topics and decision making at the Otto-von-Guericke-University in Magdeburg, where he resides with his wife and his three children.
